Midfoot Pain

Midfoot pain is a common finding here in the Podiatry and Gait Clinics, and can significantly affect day to day life and activity. It can be caused by trauma, overuse and biomechanical dysfunction.

How do we treat midfoot pain?

As always, we aim to gain a diagnosis as quickly as possible in order to manage the midfoot pain appropriately and in a timely manner to get you back doing the things you love. Midfoot pain may be treated using a specific rehabilitation programme, footwear changes, orthoses/insoles, steroid injection therapy and in some cases onward referral to a foot & ankle surgeon.
