Initial clinic appointment for expert podiatry services. 

This treatment includes nails cut, corns removed, cracked heels and hard skin / calluses. We also check the health of your feet, which includes Vascular Assessment and Diabetic Neuropathy checks (for diabetic patients) to ensure there are no underlying health issues and we can discuss any problems you may be experiencing such as foot pain. 

Please note, depending on the nature of your foot issues, you may require more than one visit to ensure everything is addressed.

Returning clients to Footman Podiatry after more than 12 months since their last visit, will require the expert Podiatry Xtra service on their initial visit. 

This appointment includes a medical history re-take, foot health checks, vascular assessment, diabetic neuropathy checks (for diabetic patients), routine nail care, hard skin removal, cracked heels and corn treatment, where appropriate. 

During this visit a treatment strategy going forward will also be provided. Please note, depending on the nature of your foot issues, you may require more than one visit to ensure everything is addressed.

Repeat podiatry treatment for patients who have previously been seen in clinic within the last 2 years. 

This is for the treatment of nail cuts, hard skin and corn removal, cracked heels etc together with a foot health assessment. 

We also include foot health advice to ensure your feet are in tip top health.

"Diabetic EXTRA" appointments includes a routine foot care treatment, pulses and neuropathy checks, along with taking a 3D scan of your feet, then perform standing and walking assessments, which will highlight any areas of increased pressure, and potential risk of hard skin or ulceration to your feet. This can be monitored annually to check for changes in your feet. An electronic report from the Footscan System is also provided.

Suitable for people with foot, knee, and lower back pain, running injuries, and flat feet / fallen arches, hypermobility, plantar fasciitis, Morton's neuroma, tendinitis, Baxter's neuritis, Osteoarthritis, and other types of pain.

This appointment is for assessing foot, ankle, and lower limb issues, with an expert treatment plan using the superior Gait & Motion Footscan technology / 4D scanning and dynamic evaluation system. PLUS Baiobit for the ultimate in Gait Analysis diagnostics. We also provide a full report which can be passed to other healthcare providers, if required. range of movement and neurological assessment, foot posture and gait (walking / running) video analysis. Please note: We also recommend a review after two years, to evaluate how your walking or movement has changed. This allows us the opportunity to amend your treatment plan, or determine if its no longer required. A review appointment can be booked on line if required.

Please note orthotics / insoles will only be supplied to clients who have been fully assessed in a Podiatry & Gait clinic. Orthotics / insoles cannot be purchased without an assessment. (This excludes extra pairs). 

It is recommended a follow up Biomechanics assessment is done every 2-3 years to ensure the orthotics / insoles, are continuing to provide the correct support you need.

Laser therapy can be used to treat acute and chronic pain. Muscle spasms and pain relating to the foot, leg, knee, and back pain. Laser therapy can also be used for sports injuries, inflammatory conditions, including arthritis, tendonitis, bursitis, plantar fasciitis, and it can even help speed up healing time with wounds and improve the appearance of fungal nails.

A course of three treatments is normally recommended with laser therapy, but the treatment strategy will be discussed with you in full during your initial consultation.

Initial assessment and treatment is £75.

Initial assessment and diagnosis of the issues, plus the removal of any dead Verruca tissue (essential prior to starting medical grade treatments). Topical treatment using "Verrutop" available at an additional cost if required.

Initial appointment to assess and diagnose fungal nails and discussion of treatments. Optional fungal testing available at an additional cost.

Initial assessment and conservative treatment of ingrowing toe nails, which includes foot health check and the trimming of the affected nail. Appointment also includes an application of MLS Laser Therapy for wounds if required.

An ultrasound of the foot is a diagnostic imaging technique that uses high-frequency sound waves to create detailed images of the structures within the foot. This non-invasive procedure helps healthcare providers evaluate and diagnose various conditions affecting the foot.

Ultrasound services are used as part of an initial consultation in association with other diagnostic tools.

Please note this is not a stand alone service, so if you think you require an ultrasound we advise that you get in contact with us.

We are sorry, but we are no longer taking on new patients for home visits. Any existing home visit patient who has not seen us within the previous three month period will automatically be discharged, as we will assume you no longer require our services. Any patient who cancels, or is not available on two consecutive visits will also be discharged from our list.

We are having to make these changes because we have limited time for home visits, and a great deal of resources are spent on appointments which are not utilised.
